The unit can be installed on the floor or ceiling. A treatment room requires less radiation protection than a linear accelerator room due to its low radiation energy and minimal exposure time.
The Xstrahl 300's positioning capabilities allow access to hard-to-reach areas such as the head and neck areas with maximum patient comfort. Thanks to the use of low energy, it is possible to achieve jewelry precision in the positioning of the radiation source, so healthy tissues are not exposed to X-rays. Radiation therapy lasts only a few minutes and has little or no effect on the patient's daily life.
