Autogizer are fully automated tissue homogenization systems. Suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications such as tissue homogenization, emulsions and suspensions, cell disruption, protein extraction, and various classes of medical laboratory research. Autogizer - the ultrasound model can handle liquid volumes from 150 μl to 150 ml at varying intensities. For stronger specimens, the system can process up to 19 unique tissue groups with four or five variable speed cutters for a total of 95 specimens.
The rugged and powerful Autogizer is programmed with a simple touchscreen interface for any multi-step tissue homogenization process. Can accommodate five small Pro Scientific Model 200 homogenizers or four powerful 3/4 HP 576W Model 250 homogenizers capable of mixing the toughest samples. The speed of each homogenizer motor can vary depending on the protocol. The 200 model can run from 5,000 to 35,000 rpm. Larger Model 250 motors can run from 10,000 to 30,000 rpm.
For workflows where sample temperature is critical or when cryogenic homogenization is required, the sample rack can be equipped with an ice bath. As the homogenization program progresses (between each line of processed vials), the cutters can be programmed to go through (1) a main wash, (2) an organic wash, and / or (3) an ultrasonic wash. An additional trolley for washing and collecting waste is available for waste containment.
The ultrasonic autogasser is equipped with five Sonic sensors. If you need both ultrasonic and mechanical homogenization, Tomtec can modify your device to include two ultrasonic transducers and three variable speed cutters on one platform.
