Description

Chromatographic sorbent Affi-Gel Blue is cross-linked agarose particles with Cibacron Blue F3GA dye, which serves as a binding site for ionic, hydrophobic, aromatic and sterically active compounds. Proteins and peptides are bound and washed off the column by changing the composition of the buffers.

Benefits:

excellent for removing albumin (150-300 microns, 50-100 mesh);
used for enzyme purification (80-150 µm, 100-200 mesh).
